Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components related to facade lighting projects. This role requires a strong technical background, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in the construction or facade lighting industry.
- Proven experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid electrician license or certification (if required by state or local regulations).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems for facade lighting projects.
- Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and malfunctions promptly.
- Install and configure lighting fixtures, controls, and related equipment.
- Perform wiring and connections according to project specifications.
- Test and commission lighting systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Plan and layout electrical wiring based on architectural and engineering plans.
- Collaborate with drafters, engineers, and project managers as needed.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems for safety and performance.
- Identify and report hazards or potential safety issues on job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
- Complete daily logs and reports to track project progress and status.
- Provide documentation for inspections, audits, and client approvals.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, technicians, and contractors on project sites.
- Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to meet project deadlines and goals.
- Support and assist colleagues as needed to ensure project success.
