Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Facade Lighting Company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fieldwork, a deep understanding of the architectural and lighting industry, and the ability to build strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and developers. This role involves actively identifying business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic planning and on-ground execution.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  2. 3 to 6 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the facade lighting, architectural lighting, construction, or interior industries.

  3. Must have on-site fieldwork experience and the ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, and project coordination.

  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  5. Strong network and industry contacts with architects, lighting designers, builders, and project managers is an added advantage.

  6. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and reporting tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Identify new business opportunities in the facade lighting and architectural lighting sectors.

  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, consultants, contractors, and decision-makers.

  3. Conduct regular field visits, attend client meetings, presentations, and project discussions.

  4. Understand project requirements and coordinate with internal design, engineering, and execution teams to provide the right lighting solutions.

  5. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.

  6. Follow up with clients to close deals, negotiate terms, and ensure smooth project handovers.

  7. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals.

  8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to recommend strategic improvements.

  9. Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry exhibitions to build brand visibility and generate leads.

  10. Submit regular reports to management on business development activities and performance metrics.
